From CDG airport to Disneyland Paris: the guide

By Star Tourism Services

From the plane to the enchanted kingdom

For many families, Disneyland Paris is the first destination after landing. Charles-de-Gaulle airport, Paris's main international airport, lies around thirty kilometres from the park.

Good news: the journey is short. But you still need to choose the option best suited to you, especially after a long flight and with tired children.

The options for reaching Disneyland

The train

A train line directly connects CDG airport to the Marne-la-Vallée — Chessy station, located at the entrance of the park. The journey takes around ten minutes.

It is the fastest option, but it means reaching the station within the airport with your luggage, handling ticket purchases, and travelling on an often busy train. With young children and several suitcases, the experience can be tiring.

Shuttles

Shared shuttles connect the airport to the Disneyland hotels. The fare is reasonable, but the journey can be long due to multiple stops, and the timetables do not always match your flight.

The private chauffeur

A chauffeur welcomes you as you leave the plane, helps with the luggage and drives you directly to your hotel. The journey takes around forty-five minutes depending on traffic.

For a family arrival, after a sometimes long flight, it is the most relaxed option: no luggage to carry through corridors, no connection, a vehicle suited to the number of passengers and suitcases.

Travelling with children

A few tips so the transfer goes as smoothly as possible:

  • If you are travelling with young children, indicate your child-seat needs in advance when booking private transport.
  • Bring something to keep the children occupied during the journey.
  • After a long-haul flight, jet lag sets in: a direct and comfortable journey allows children to rest.

The return to the airport

For the return, plan ahead. Departure day is often busy: suitcases to pack, sometimes a final morning at the park. Book your transfer in advance, allowing a comfortable margin before check-in.

A private chauffeur collects you directly from your hotel, at the agreed time, which greatly simplifies this final stage of the trip.

Preparing your transfer well

For a successful transfer between CDG and Disneyland:

  • Book your transport in advance, especially in high season.
  • Provide your flight number: a good chauffeur service tracks arrival times and adapts to delays.
  • Indicate the exact number of passengers and bags to have a suitable vehicle.

The journey between CDG airport and Disneyland Paris is short, but how you make it changes the experience. For a family holiday, starting and ending the trip calmly is part of the magic.
